Delivered a WEEK ahead of time! DJI appears to have the drone business down to a science. Of all the drones I had in the past, none compare to this one in its ease of use, flying and solid construction. My first take-off was smooth as butter and rock steady in its hover. All of the telemetry displayed on my phone lets me keep track of battery time and flight status. What's great is that if it loses signal or runs out of battery the drone will make its way back to home automatically. The video quality on the 4K is clear and sharp and a welcome addition compared to the lesser cameras I've become used to on lower priced drones. After downloading the DJI Fly app there's some login and setup requirements but after that your good to go with connection to the unit and camera view in seconds. Since I just got it, I'm using the Cine speed (Low Speed) in order to get used to the flying characteristics and then once mastered, I'll move onto the higher speeds, Normal and then Sport. (Slow, Medium, Fast)

Coming from a DJI Phantom 3 Advanced that I owned a couple of years back, this new drone is absolutely amazing. The 4K UHD video quality is outstanding, and I love how much more compact it is with its smaller controller design. Like my previous drone, it still uses a cellphone as the display screen, which works great.## Standout FeaturesOne of my favorite features is the ability to circle around an object, person, or even launch straight up into the sky while smoothly zooming out from your position - it creates some really cinematic shots. I was a bit disappointed that there's no follow mode, but since I never had that feature before on my Phantom 3, it's not a huge loss.The convenience factor is impressive. I no longer have to remove the SD card to view my photos and videos - everything can be accessed directly from my phone, which saves a lot of time and hassle.## Build Quality and AccessoriesThe drone is remarkably light and compact, yet it handled wind surprisingly well during my first flight (of course, the wind picked up right when I took it out!). It comes well-equipped with extra propellers and a decent quality shoulder bag case, which is a nice touch.## Flight PerformanceThe drone offers multiple flight modes: Cinematic mode for smooth, professional-looking footage, Normal mode for everyday flying, Sport mode for more responsive controls, and FPV (First Person View) for an immersive flying experience. The controls are simple and straightforward - no barrel rolls or flips, just clean, reliable flight control.Battery life is solid at 28-32 minutes depending on your flight style and which mode you're using. The range is impressive, and video transmission quality is excellent. I did experience some rough transmission on my very first flight, but that cleared up completely and hasn't been an issue since.Overall, this is a significant upgrade from my Phantom 3 Advanced, and I'm really enjoying the improved video quality and portability.

Nice drone. Very strong, survived the crash in to tree. Light and easy to use. Very stable flying even in winds. Flight time is also great for the size of drone. Camera is the real catch it captures 4k video. This is ideal for beginners.

The setup was simple, and the controls are intuitive—even as someone who has flown other drones, I found the learning curve very manageable.The 4K UHD camera is the standout feature. With the 3-axis gimbal, video footage looks smooth and stable, even on breezy days. I tested it in moderate wind, and the drone held its position better than I expected for something this small. The 10 km video transmission is also impressive, giving me plenty of confidence to send it out farther while still keeping a strong connection.Flight time with the included battery is about 30 minutes, which is usually enough for a session, but having a spare battery is almost a necessity if you plan to use it a lot. The return-to-home function worked perfectly in my tests and adds peace of mind, especially when flying in unfamiliar areas.One thing to keep in mind is that because it’s so light, it will get pushed around in stronger winds more than larger drones, so picking your flying conditions is important. Also, while it has good stabilization and safety features, it doesn’t have all the obstacle avoidance sensors of DJI’s higher-end models—so you need to be attentive while flying.Bottom line: A fantastic entry-level or travel drone with pro-level video quality packed into a compact, lightweight design.
